1. I have seen other cards that cost more, does this mean that your discounts are smaller?

Answer: HPN has deep discounts, equal to or better than other cards. We also have more benefits to offer. We use provider net- works that are of the highest quality. The difference is that HPN was developed with the CONSUMER in mind. We implemented a price structure that will allow everyone to participate in the plan.

2. I heard that some discount card participants have tried to use their card at pharmacies and Doctor offices, only to be told they don’t take the card even though they are on the provider list.

Answer: We call the providers that you use to make sure they understand the plan and how the plan works. This should eliminate any “surprises”. The prescription drug plan is a well-known nation wide carrier. The plan uses the insignia or logo of the provider on your HPN card so providers will recognize the program. There is always a possibility of a problem. We will help in any way we can. Nothing is perfect!

3. How can I be sure that I will receive discounts that will be equal or more than the yearly membership fee?

Answer: You will need to use the card to gain the discounts. We also provide a “bonus” program with discount coupons on name brand products. If you use this bonus, there is no doubt that your membership fee will be covered.

4. How can I be sure my medical and counseling information remains confidential?

Answer: We do not receive any reports on the discounts you use. We do not know if you access any medical Doctors, counselors or other providers. You are guaranteed by law confidentiality between yourself and medical providers. This is not insurance so there is no reporting or claims sent to anyone.

5. What is in my “Fulfillment Package”?

Answer: Your Fulfillment Package will include 2 cards and a bound book that contains all the benefits you can access and a step by step explanation about how to use your HPN Card. There are 800 numbers to every benefit and a listing of providers and forms to help you.

6. How can I get information and providers if I don’t have my fulfillment book with me?

Answer: There are 800 numbers on your card to find providers and an integrated web site that will explain your benefits and help you find providers. There are also customer service numbers.

7. Do I have to have my card at the time of service to access the discounts?

Answer: Yes, you must have your card at time of service. You can request additional cards.
